Robot Vacuum Grand Prix
Two tiny rides. Two very serious rivals. MILO turns an ordinary hallway into a racetrack — and discovers that winning is only part of the story.

A very official start
MILO raised Luci’s pink headband like a starting flag. Beside him, LEO leaned forward on his blue-rimmed ride. The headband swept down, landed on MILO’s little rear wing, and the race began. MILO claimed the inside corner first.

LEO finds another way
The long way around the sofa suited MILO perfectly. LEO noticed the open space underneath instead. He crouched low, slipped through, and emerged ahead. One proud glance over his shoulder was enough. MILO immediately began looking for a different advantage.

An idea with extra wind
Back at the laundry corner, MILO had given his ride a decidedly unusual upgrade: a hair dryer at the rear. He flicked it on. The pink headband streamed behind him as he lowered his helmet and set off after LEO.

The laundry joins in
MILO caught up and chose a very narrow inside line. His bumper nudged the laundry basket. Clothes tumbled across the race, leaving a white shirt trailing from his ride and a lavender towel caught behind LEO’s. Both racers kept going.

One more corner
They charged down the hallway almost together, with MILO barely ahead. Around the next corner, Luci was quietly stretching on her yoga mat. The two racers spotted the space beneath her raised body. Neither was ready to give up the lap.

A surprising finish line
MILO reached the near edge of the mat first. Both cats ducked and crossed beneath Luci from the side, clearing her hands and feet. Their trailing laundry lifted over her and settled across her back. The rides stopped. Luci slowly turned.

And the winner is…
MILO retrieved the pink headband and carefully placed it on Luci’s forehead, presenting her as the champion. She looked at the laundry, then at him. LEO lowered a paw that had almost begun celebrating. MILO held his magnificent award-giving pose.
THE END. FOR NOW.
