Prologue to the Apocalypse: The Separation
The story begins at dusk in a sprawling city.
PUGGY‘s beloved owner—the young girl—wanders the fading streets, cradling the cat she had previously rescued from a torrential downpour. With a heavy heart, she tapes “Missing Dog (PUGGY)” posters to the brick walls and streetlamps. She scans the faces of passersby with anxious eyes, desperately praying for a glimpse of her lost companion.
Suddenly, the twilight sky is torn apart by a deafening, earth-shattering boom. A colossal UFO descends ominously from the dense clouds, casting a massive, terrifying shadow that swallows the entire metropolis. Panic erupts instantly. The crowds scatter, screaming and running for their lives.
In the next heartbeat, the spacecraft unleashes a blinding, colossal pillar of purple energy. It strikes the city center with cataclysmic force, triggering a monumental explosion. Skyscrapers crumble like glass, and towering infernos turn the bustling city into an instant wasteland.
From the epicenter of this purple blast, a gargantuan Hamster Monster—forged entirely of crackling, dark-violet energy—slowly materializes, stepping heavily amidst the falling debris. With an ear-splitting roar, its massive claws smash the pavement into dust, plunging the human world into a doomsday catastrophe.
The scene abruptly cuts to a grassy field just outside the city limits. PUGGY is sprinting through the tall grass. He witnesses the city’s sudden, fiery collapse firsthand. Knowing his owner is trapped right at ground zero of this annihilation, his little heart fills with agonizing dread.
Throwing all caution to the wind, he charges recklessly toward the burning skyline. But just as he dashes forward, a blinding tractor beam from the UFO locks onto him. Without warning, PUGGY is violently swept up into the sky!
Meanwhile, back on the ground, the giant Hamster Monster goes on a catastrophic rampage, effortlessly crushing vehicles and flattening buildings as survivors flee blindly through the rubble. The girl, clutching her cat tightly to her chest, ducks behind the twisted metal of a ruined car, staring up at the apocalyptic sky in sheer terror.
Driven by the monster’s relentless roaring, she makes a desperate dash for a subway entrance to find sanctuary. The subterranean platform is pitch-black, ruined, and freezing. She curls into a tight ball in the darkest corner, shivering and holding her cat close.
Suddenly, the subway ceiling caves in with a deafening crash! A gargantuan, purple-glowing claw pierces through the thick concrete and twisted rebar, blindly sweeping the ruined platform. The leviathan is hunting her down!
High above the atmosphere, PUGGY is securely restrained within the cold, alien belly of the UFO, trapped inside an impenetrable cage of hard light. He paces frantically, completely powerless as he watches the crisis on Earth rapidly escalate. His beloved owner is in mortal peril, yet he can do absolutely nothing to save her…
This is a story of a sudden cataclysm, an insurmountable gap in power, of agonizing separation, and a desperate struggle to survive. Yet, in this most helpless of moments, PUGGY refuses to surrender to despair. His unwavering gaze pierces through the void of space, forever locked onto the one human he swore to protect.
The true battle has only just begun.
