On a blindingly sunny afternoon, the rural railroad tracks reflected a cold metallic glare beneath the scorching sun. Everything seemed calm—until a few malicious laughs shattered the stillness. They carefully lifted the barely breathing PUGGY onto a stretcher and took it to an animal hospital for emergency treatment.

At last, through tireless care and devoted treatment, PUGGY’s condition began to improve. Its wounds slowly healed, and it gradually regained consciousness.
Then, on a bright and beautiful sunny day, PUGGY finally stood up again. It gently rubbed its nose against the groundhog’s cheek and showed a soft, tender smile. The little groundhog happily threw its arms around PUGGY, and the reunion of these two tiny lives moved everyone who witnessed it.
This was not only a rescue from the edge of death, but also a profound friendship that crossed both language and species. Through their actions, they proved that true courage means reaching out without fear, and true gratitude means staying by someone’s side and never letting go.
